Tamaroa Cemetery Association is a nonprofit organization supported by donations only. It operates under the supervision of a board of trustees, appointed by the Perry County Board of Commissioners. The six-member board includes:

All donations to the Tamaroa Cemetery Association are tax-deductible. EIN number is available to donors upon request. All Federal, State, and local Laws apply.
Donations are recorded in the books by the name of the donor. The books and records are under the direction of the treasurer, and are public information. The financial report is available upon request. The firm of Rice Sullivan, LLC, of Du Quoin, Illinois are the auditors and tax consultants for the association.
At the regular meeting of the Tamaroa Cemetery Association on January 26, 2016, the board passed a motion to allow permission to place upright stones on any plot in the cemetery. This will go into effect February 1, 2016. This also gives permission to replace flat stones with upright stones at the expense of the grave owner or family, if those parties desire.
