Welcome to Tamaroa Cemetery Association

Tamaroa Cemetery Association is a nonprofit organization supported by donations only.  It operates under the supervision of a board of trustees, appointed by the Perry County Board of Commissioners.  The six-member board includes:

• Diane Valentine,  Treasurer
• Cathy Youngman,  Secretary
• Johnie Leonard,  Trustee
• Jeff Harris,  Trustee

Anyone wishing to obtain a copy of the rules and regulations regarding purchase and care of burial lots, monuments and markers, and maintenance of the grounds may do so by contacting any trustee or by writing to the following address:

All donations to the Tamaroa Cemetery Association are tax-deductible. EIN number is available to donors upon request. All Federal, State, and local Laws apply.

Donations are recorded in the books by the name of the donor. The books and records are under the direction of the treasurer, and are public information.  The financial report is available upon request. The firm of Rice Sullivan, LLC, of Du Quoin, Illinois are the auditors and tax consultants for the association.
